Origin Story
“A few years back I noticed that my parents were still using some of the same kitchen items I remembered from childhood. A knife my grandmother bought decades ago that was still doing its job.My favorite old cookie tin still keeps things fresh.
Then I looked at my own kitchen. A mix of materials, plastic items that felt disposable.Things that didn’t quite belong together.
Keechee grew from that.
The things we use every day should feel simple, natural, and be made to last.”
Thoughtful Design
We make everyday things better to use through thoughtful design and natural materials. Our journey began with the deep-carbonized bamboo cutting board.

Our Second Item
The world’s-first dishwasher-safe bamboo
board – showed that there is no need to sacrifice convenience. And we were just getting started.
Materials
We choose natural materials because they feel better, work better, and make everyday things more pleasing to use. All materials are responsibly sourced and carefully selected for their quality and suitability.
Our salt cellar is one example: it combines the durability and sustainability of bamboo with the warmth of acacia wood.
Design Philosophy
It often starts with a small frustration. A tool that works, but not as well as it should.
The Bread Pilot was inspired by a disaster of a sandwich, for example. Why not make a knife that could precisely cut perfectly-sized slices every time?
