This 2-piece carbonized bamboo cutting board set includes two practical sizes: a large 15 × 10-inch board and a medium 12 × 8-inch board. Use the larger board for meats, vegetables and bread, and the medium board for fruit, snacks, quick prep or serving.

Each board undergoes thermal treatment at 500°F (260°C), a carbonization process that improves the bamboo’s stability, reduces moisture absorption and creates its rich, dark finish.

The cross-laminated construction interlocks multiple bamboo layers to provide dependable strength and help reduce warping and cracking during everyday use.

Both boards are reversible. Use the grooved side to help contain liquids from meat, fruit and vegetables, or use the smooth side for bread, cheese, dry ingredients and serving.

Built-in handles make the boards easier to lift, carry and transfer between the counter, stove and table. The hanging holes also provide a convenient way to store the boards upright and save kitchen space.

Hand-wash the boards with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid soaking them or placing them in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly after cleaning and store upright in a ventilated area. Apply food-grade mineral oil occasionally to help maintain the bamboo finish.

I like the sizes and it’s good for the price I payed if you’re not looking to spend too much on a wood cutting board. I do think it’s a bit prone to scratch, which I expected, even after mineral oil, so it might be worth investing in a pricier, higher quality piece if you can.

I’ve been really happy with this bamboo cutting board set overall. The boards are thick, sturdy, and feel well-made right out of the box. I like that it comes with two different sizes, which is perfect for switching between quick prep and larger chopping tasks. The juice groove is a nice touch and actually works well for meats and juicy fruits without making a mess.The carbonized bamboo finish looks great on the counter and feels smooth, and so far it hasn’t warped or cracked.
